Unfortunately, this leads to problems long term. Other people in the house will assume you are available to help, you won’t feel like you’re actually in work mode, and, inevitably, your motivation starts to slip, as does your productivity.
The simple fix? Dress for work! It doesn’t have to be super formal, but at least make yourself presentable. Take a shower, and do that basic grooming you thought you could put off. This signals to your brain (and your family or roommates) that you’re in work mode and are going to be getting things done.
